The Birding World Archives: Eastern Stonechats 1984-2020
This gallery features all of the Eastern Stonechat photographs submitted to Birding World, plus a few more to 2020, with very grateful thanks to all of the photographers involved.
Many of these photographs have never been published before and it is hoped that this presentation of them all together here will help answer the questions about what did previous birds look like and could some of them perhaps be definitely assigned to either of the forms maura or stejnegeri.
The photographs are in chronological order – please just scroll down the page and enjoy.
All of these images are copyright.
