First-winter Mediterranean Gull, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, 29th January 2006 (John Miller).
Snow Goose, Holkham, Norfolk, 20th January 2005 (John Furse).
Common Cranes, Hickling, 12th January 2006 (Steve Gantlett). Up to 34 wintered in the Hickling/Horsey area; a new record.
Mandarin Ducks, Felbrigg Lake, 15th December 2005 (Steve Gantlett). Three males and two females were present on this date.

Hybrid Ross's Goose x Pink-footed Goose, with Pink-footed Geese, Brancaster, 11th December 2005 (Steve Gantlett). In a poor winter for rare geese in Norfolk by recent standards, at least this bird (which remained in the area for the whole winter) was easy to pick out!
